In January 2017, the Lord gave Walt the identical vision He had given Janette in 2005. One month later, on February 15th, their only daughter, eighteen-year-old Teagan, passed away—just one month after the confirming vision. The testimony of Teagan’s life and passing had impacted hundreds of people, and Janette knew that in the writing of her book, Teagan’s Heart, she was planting a seed of healing that would multiply for God’s kingdom.
The Wehrmann Foundation/Teagan’s Heart was established in February 2021 and serves as the platform to facilitate God’s calling—to provide safe dwellings to the desolate—widows and orphans, women and children. Because in Psalm 68:5-6, scripture reminds us that God is a Father to the fatherless, their defender in His holy habitation.
Our GOAL is to provide the outward/physical manifestation—a habitation of the Lord—in which women and children can feel safe.
Our PASSION is to perpetuate our daughter’s memory and testimony through the Foundation, Teagan’s Heart.
As co-owner’s of Black Marlin Commercial Real Estate, the Wehrmann’s use their investment brokerage experience of over 25 years to support charitable organizations around the world. It has been their guiding principles, the framework, which sustained them with good success to develop and transform lives around them.
