Help provide safe dwellings, nutritious food, and medical aid expressed by love.
The Wehrmann Foundation offers a few ways you can partner with us in your gift giving. Please contact us for additional information or to discuss the different options to support women and children in desperate need.
Personal Gifting - Whether you decide to donate one time or set up a recurring cash donation, your gift will help equip mothers to effectively care for their young children in their most critical stage of life.
Corporate Sponsorship - Companies can donate product or money to The Wehrmann Foundation directly or elect to support through a point of sale campaign.
Company Gift Matching - Did you know that thousands of companies match donations by employees? Through a company match, you can double the impact of your gift and help more women in need.
Legacy Donor - A charitable bequest is one or two sentences in your will or living trust that leave, to The Wehrmann Foundation, a specific item, an amount of money, a gift contingent upon certain events or a percentage of your estate. It may be in the form of cash, appreciated securities, real estate or tangible personal property. In addition, Legacy Gifts may be in the form of Beneficiary Designations, Memorials and Tributes or Donor Advised Funds. (Please seek the advice of your financial or legal advisor for which type of giving is best for you.)
Cryptocurrency - Donating cryptocurrency directly to a 501c3 nonprofit is more tax efficient and can save you money. The IRS classifies cryptocurrency as property for tax purposes which means it is typically the most tax efficient way to support your favorite cause. When donating crypto, you receive a tax deduction for the fair market value of the crypto, and you avoid the capital gains tax you would have incurred if you had sold the crypto and then made the donation. That means you’re able to donate more, as well as deduct more on your tax return. The difference may amount to more than 30%.
With all forms of giving, the Wehrmann Foundation highly recommends that you seek the advice of a licensed tax expert or legal counsel.
